Hello again! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself repair article from all the staff here at Toolpartsdirect.com. Today, we’re going to show you how to change to the brushes on a Hitachi miter saw.

Tools You Will Need:

Flat Head Screwdriver

Before we start make sure your saw is powered down and unplugged from your outlet. Remember, safety first! Once that’s done, let’s get started!

Step 1:

Take your flat head screwdriver and unscrew the brush caps on the side of your saw. Be careful! The caps may be brittle.

Step 2:

Slide the new brush into the saw. Make sure the wings are horizontal.

Step 3:

When the brush is installed, spin the cap backwards at first to make sure it seats.

Now, tighten the cap. Don’t overtighten it though. Otherwise, the cap could crack.

And there you have it! Nothing to it, right? We hope this article saved you some time and money. Make sure you keep an eye out for future content from all the staff here from ToolPartsDirect.com.
