Hello all! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself article brought to you from all the staff here from ToolPartsDirect.com! Today, we’re going to show you how to change the cam followers on a Milwaukee Band Saw.

Tools You Will Need:

Torx Screwdriver

Flathead Screwdriver

Before we start, as always, make sure your band saw is turned off and powered down. Remember, safety first! Once that’s done, let’s get started.

Step 1:

Using your Torx Screwdriver, remove the two screws to remove the blade guide block.

Step 2:

Now, use your flathead screwdriver to detach the cam followers.

Inspect and replace any damaged or defective cam followers.

Step 3:

Replace the longer screw on the front end of the saw. Don’t fully secure the screw to the saw. Wait until both screws are started.

Once both screws are in, fully secure the screws to the saw.

Step 4:

Now, remove the three screws from the blade guide block.

Pull the cam follower from the block.

Step 5:

Same as above, use your flathead screwdriver to detach the cam followers.

Screw the cam follower to the blade guide block.

Be careful. You don’t want to bind your block.
