Hey there! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself article brought to you from all the web staff here from ToolPartsDirect.com. This time we’re going to show you how to change the oil on a Skil Saw Worm Drive.

Tools You Will Need:

Heavy Duty Worm Drive Saw Lubricant

An Oil Pan

A Wrench

Before we start, make sure your tool is unplugged and powered down. Remember, safety first! Once that’s done, let’s get started!

Step 1:

First things first, remove the blade and set it to the deepest cut setting.

Now, tilt your saw back and use your wrench to remove the plug.

Step 2:

Tilt the Skil Saw and drain all the oil into the oil pan.

Step 3:

After the old oil has been drained, slowly fill and turn the gear by hand to fill the tool fully.

Now, let it sit for a while and keep topping it off until it’s completely full.

Step 4:

Finally, screw and tighten the cap.

And there you go! Not too hard, right? Hopefully, this article saved you some time and money.
