Welcome back to another Do It Yourself article from the staff here at ToolPartsDirect.com. Today, we’re going to show you how to install a new trigger in your angle grinder.

Also, please be careful disassembling your tool. Safety first!

Tools You Will Need:

Phillips Head Screwdriver

Flat Head Screwdriver

Alright! Let’s get started.

Step 1:

First, using your Phillips Head Screwdriver, remove the outer casing screws holding the casing together.

Step 2:

Now, use your flat head screwdriver to pry open the outer casing.

Step 3:

Once you have removed the casing, find the wires that go into the trigger. Unscrew the wires using your screwdriver.

Take note of each wire and remember where they go and where they came from. Remove the old trigger.

Step 4:

Now, screw the wires into the new trigger.

Step 5:

Now that the wires are screwed in, position the trigger in its proper spot and make sure all the wires are tucked in.

Step 6:

Finally, reset and screw in the outer casing.

Make sure you test it out when you’re done.

And there you go! We hope this helped you out as well as saved you some time and money. Make sure you look at some of our prior articles from all of us here at ToolPartsDirect.com.
