Hello again! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself from all the staff here at ToolPartsDirect.com. Today, we’re going to show you how to replace the belt in a DeWalt Miter Saw.

Tools You Will Need:

Torx Screwdriver

Before we start, as always, make sure your saw is powered down and unplugged. Remember, safety first. With that done, let’s get started.

Step 1:

Use your screwdriver to unscrew the belt cover from the saw.

Step 2:

Take your screw and loosen the screws in your saw. Don’t remove them just yet.

Now, loosen the belt tensioning screw on the back.

Remove the belt.

Step 3:

Time to put the new belt into the miter saw.

Make sure the grooves are on the inside. Then, tighten it up.

Step 4:

Make sure the belt is taut and then screw in the screws.

Run the belt through to make sure its working properly.

Step 5:

Finally, screw the cover back onto the saw.

And there you have it! Pretty simple, right? Hopefully, this article saved you some time and money. Feel free to share these articles with your friends. Keep an eye out for future articles from the staff here at ToolPartsDirect.com.
