Hello again! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself article brought to you from all of us here from ToolPartsDirect.com! Today, we’re going to show you how to replace the blade on a Skil Saw.

Tools You Will Need:

No tools this time! They’re all with the saw!

Before we start, as always, make sure your table saw is powered down and unplugged. We want you to be safe. Got that done? Alright! Let’s get started!

Step 1:

Use the open end of the wrenches on the inside of the saw to loosen the flange and nut. The thread should be left handed.

Step 2:

Once the flange and nut is loosened, unscrew both from the saw to allow access to the blade.

Now, remove the saw blade. BE VERY CAREFUL! The blades are really sharp! Don’t cut yourself.

Step 3:

Take your new blade and slide it onto the saw. After that, replace the flange and nut.

Thread the nut by hand and then use your wrenches to tighten it all the way.

And there you have it! Hopefully, this article saved you some time and money! If you like our articles and find them helpful, feel free to share them with your family and friends! Make sure you keep in eye out for future content from all the staff here at ToolPartsDirect.com!
