Hey there! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself article from all the staff here at ToolPartsDirect.com. This time, we’re going to show you how to replace the brushes on a DeWalt sliding miter saw.

Tools You Will Need:

Phillips Screwdriver

Pick

Before we start, make sure the saw is powered off and unplugged. We want you to be safe. Alright! Let’s get started!

Step 1:

Use your screwdriver to remove the cover.

Step 2:

Use your pick unplug the brush. Then, pull back the spring and remove the brush from the saw.

Step 3:

Now, do the same thing to the other side. Use your pick unplug the brush. Then, pull back the spring and remove the brush from the saw.

Step 4:

Now, insert the new brush into the saw.

Step 5:

Insert the brush on the other side.

Step 6:

Replace the back cover.

Step 7:

Test it out and make sure it works.
