Hello again! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself tutorial brought to you from all the web staff here at ToolPartsDirect.com! This time we’re going to show you how to how to replace the pad on a Porter Cable Sander.

Tools You Will Need:

TorX Screwdriver

Before we start, as always make sure your power tool is set to the ‘OFF’ position and make sure your sander is unplugged. We want you to be safe. Once that’s done, let’s get started!

Step 1:

First, use your screwdriver to remove the sandpaper. Then, remove the three screws.

Step 2:

Clean out any dust or debris from the inside of the sander.

Step 3:

Once that’s done, replace your pad with a new one and line up the holes onto the sander.

Secure the screws into a pattern to avoid binding.

Plug it in and test it out.

And there you have it. We hope this article saved you some time and money. Make sure you keep an eye out for other great content from all of us here at ToolPartsDirect.com.
