Hello again! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself article brought to you from all the staff here at ToolPartsDirect.com. Today, we’re going to show you how to replace the power cord in a DuoFast staple gun.

Tools You Will Need:

Phillips Head Screwdriver

Torx Head Screwdriver

Alright! Let’s get started!

Step 1:

First things first, slide the magazine down to relieve the tension.

Take your torx screwdriver and unscrew the four screws from the staple gun.

Step 2:

Remove the front part of the handle.

Unscrew the white clamp and undo the green wire.

Step 3:

Push down on the lever to remove the black and white wires.

Step 4:

Reuse the old boot from the old cable for the new power cord. Slip the wires through boot. Make sure the boot is snug on the cords.

Step 5:

Plug the new black and white cables into their proper spots.

Plug in and screw the green wire into its appropriate place.

Step 6:

Install the boot into the notch. Then, replace and install the cord clamp.

Now, screw in the clamp.

Step 7:

Tuck the cords into the front handle. Be careful not to pinch them. Then, replace the front handle and screw it into place.

And there you have it! Hopefully, this article saved you some time and some money. Make sure you check out our prior Do It Yourself articles on the blog. If you find them informative, please share them with your family and friends.
