Hello again! Welcome back to another Do It Yourself article from all of us here from ToolPartsDirect.com. Today, we’re going to show you how to replace the safety pin on a Makita miter saw. First things first, make sure your tool is powered off and unplugged.

Tools You Will Need:

Phillips Screwdriver

Let’s get started!

Step 1:

Use your Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the outer casing from the miter saw.

Step 2:

Now that the cover has been removed, clean out any debris that may be loose.

Step 3:

Once the inside is cleaned out, test the new pin to make sure it works.

Step 4:

Place the outer casing and screw it back onto the miter saw.

Step 5:

Finally, pop the pin back onto the saw.

And there you go! Hopefully, this article saved you some time and money! Be sure to check out our prior Do It Yourself articles on the blog and also make sure you keep an eye for future content from all of us here at ToolPartsDirect.com!
